Anhand der examine verschiedener Bilder, welche er im Zeitraum zwischen 1926 – 1935 aufgenommen hatte, wird versucht, die Frage zu klären, ob seine Arbeit als Bildjournalist die Modefotografie oder die Modefotografie seinen Bildjournalismus beeinflusst hat.
